The next International Fastener Fair Stuttgart will take place over three days, from Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th February 2011 at the Messe Stuttgart.

Following a record breaking showing in 2009, which put it at the top of the rankings for international fastener dedicated exhibitions, Fastener Fair Stuttgart has committed to a season-opening Spring event in 2011.

Great things, they say, come in threes and Fastener Fair Stuttgart aims to prove that true, having committed to three trading days for the 2011 event. Recognising that the 2009 sold out and some later booking exhibitors were limited in their choice of stand size and location, Fastener Fairs has also reserved three halls at the highly acclaimed Messe Stuttgart to provide a potential 30,000 square metres gross exhibition space.

Why three days?

Fastener Fair Stuttgart has shown outstanding growth event on event, almost tripling both space and exhibitor numbers between 2005 and 2009. While the Fastener Fair ethos has always been to make its event time and cost effective, exhibitors and visitors have fed back that the time is now right to increase to three days.

That means:

• More time for exhibitors to dedicate to doing business with visitors.
• More time for visitors to get around what promises to be an even bigger event.
• And equally important more time for exhibitors to network and do business with the stands surrounding them.

Of course, Fastener Fair will stage its now famous opening night party for all badge holders. The three-day format, though, now provides exhibitors with the opportunity to stage their own hospitality events on the second show night.

Longer set up

The extended show format is complemented by three days for set up, running throughout the weekend and into Monday.

For exhibitors preferring to design and build their own stands this means additional time to better, if that is really possible, the outstanding array of professional stands presented in 2009.

Stronger machinery and raw material sector

2009 clearly demonstrated the great value gained by having a dedicated manufacturing technology and raw materials sector at Fastener Fair Stuttgart.

For machinery and equipment exhibitors the three day set up and three day exhibition format makes it really worthwhile to present and demonstrate their equipment.

2009 machinery exhibitors proved Fastener Fair Stuttgart was a selling show with an international fastener manufacturing marketplace. Fastener Fair 2011’s timing will make it an excellent venue for fastener manufacturers and machinery suppliers to discuss key growth investments.

A Spring bursting with opportunities

Staging Fastener Fair Stuttgart in Autumn until now was to a significant extent a function of venue availability. The organisers have always been conscious that, for many exhibitors of both fastener & fixings and manufacturing technologies, a Spring event would be a more comfortable fit in the cycle of European fastener related events.

Moving to February means Fastener Fair Stuttgart will really open the 2011 trading season, offering plenty of time for exhibitors to follow up the many leads, across many countries, generated at the show. It also means that many exhibitors will be able to spread budgets more effectively in order to commit totally to exploiting the opportunities presented by Fastener Fair Stuttgart.
