wire 2010 will be staged from 12th – 16th April in halls 9 to 12 and 15 to 17 of the Düsseldorf exhibition centre, alongside TUBE 2010 which will be situated in halls 1 to 7.0.

Messe Düsseldorf is already reporting that exhibitor

numbers for wire 2010 have exceeded 2008 levels.

By mid January 1,176 companies from 50 countries had already registered for wire, compared to 1,130 companies in 2008. The exhibition space, however, has slightly fallen with wire 2010 exhibitors presenting themselves on 51,689 net square metres, 2,000 square metres less then the 53,600 square metres total of 2008. Messe Düsseldorf puts this decrease down to the reduction in size of several exhibitor stands.

wire shows machines and equipment for the manufacture and finishing of wire, tools and accessories for process engineering, as well as materials and special wires. New products and technologies for cable, measurement and control technology and test engineering will also be presented, as well as specialty areas such as logistics, conveying systems and packaging.

The majority of fastener manufacturing equipment exhibitors are located in wire hall 15. These exhibits cover technologies ranging from wire drawing and feed systems, cold-forming, thread rolling and tapping, other secondary operations, process control, inspection and packaging, heat treatment, simulation software and an extensive range of tooling, dies and punches.
