G&B Group celebrating 35 years of quality 13 April 2015

G&B Group is celebrating 35 years of certified quality, experience and innovation, as well as continuous communication with its customers.

G&B Group started as a manufacturer of nylon anchors and from the very beginning decided that it should focus on product quality, the selection of raw materials, and on the reliability and seriousness of its suppliers.
“Even today, when the purchase price is certainly important, we still need to focus on quality and certified products,” comments Mr Enrico Galeasso, CEO of G&B Group. “It is an important commitment that can add great value in terms of competitiveness, and is the only way to provide a reliable product to customers – a choice that in the long-term has always rewarded our company policy.”
The initial strong specialisation, and the experience the company gained within the market, enabled G&B to rapidly expand its penetration within the whole of the European market – offering products of the highest quality with certified performance.
Due to the flexibility of its production programme, G&B Fissaggi Srl is now a manufacturer of nylon fixing systems, as well as steel and chemical anchors, for ironmongery, hardware, building, industry, electric, thermo-hydraulics and self-service stores.
“In addition to our awareness and experience there is another element that should never be overlooked – the constant communication and dialogue with the customer,” mentions Enrico Galeasso. “Over time we have realised that listening to the market is the first step in offering effective responses and being able to adapt to each specific local situation. This is why we constantly invest in training, both with our sales teams and network of our customers, and offer customer engagement at stages where selection of the new products and market launches are made.”
An example of G&B Group’s constant communication and dialogue with its customers, was its participation at Fastener Fair Stuttgart. “We can report good overall results from the Stuttgart show,” comments Enrico Galeasso. “We received positive impressions on the demanding market trend, both from the regulatory and product quality point of view.”
Reaching further
G&B Group has commercial offices in Germany, Spain, Belgium and the UK. The UK office includes a warehouse, which was opened in Sheffield in February 2013, as well as a sales office and a large storage area that includes the complete range of products in-line with the Italian headquarters. The G&B UK team of technical and commercial staff is available for distributors’ every need related to sales and service.
Derek Henchley, general manager at G&B UK, was able to establish the UK branch thanks to his professionalism, knowledge and experience of the UK market – leading to a strong presence in the market with great potential for even more achievements. “Thanks to a direct relationship with head office, and the short chain of distribution, we can now offer to the UK market a wide range of products from our catalogue, many of them with CE marking, at a competitive price and very high performance, which are also always tested in G&B laboratories,” says Derek Henchley.
The distribution channels in the UK are those traditional B2B companies and involve the distributors and the wholesalers of building materials and hardware. With the new office in Sheffield, G&B UK says it can now offer several competitive advantages to its customers including:
• A full range of the entire production of G&B always available from stock.
• High-quality products with CE marking.

• Very competitive quotations will be offered.
• Service and delivery of product within 24 hours for the UK mainland.
