INDEX Fixing Systems: Certified quality 29 September 2015

INDEX Fixing Systems has continued to broaden its range of ETA and CE approved products with the launch of the new SL-RT – a heavy-duty anchor that is certified for use in non-structural applications in public and private buildings under low seismic level.

In addition to the high performance SL-RT, which is approved in Option 1 (ETA – 11/0323) for use in cracked and non-cracked concrete, other approved metal anchors include the SL-VT in Option 7 (ETA – 04/0100); as well as the drop-in anchors with internal thread for heavy loads HE-HO and HE-CL – both in Option 7 (ETA – 14/0068 and ETA – 14/0135).

INDEX also has its flagship product range the MT through bolt anchor for heavy loads, with five products receiving ETAs. Firstly there is the zinc-plated MTP, the A4 stainless steel MTP-A4 and the sherardised MTP-G in Option 1 (ETA – 12/0397) for uses in cracked and non-cracked concrete. To add to this there is also the zinc-plated MTH and the A4 stainless steel MTH-A4 in Option 7 (ETA – 05/0242) for use in non-cracked concrete.

INDEX also has a chemical anchor range that has received several European Technical Assessments/Approvals. The range includes six different products, which, in turn, branch into a number of versions designed for specific installation conditions.

Products include the MOPOLY, and its stone colour and winter versions, a polyester anchor with an ETA Option 7 (ETA – 13/0752) for use in concrete; the MOPOSE – a styrene-free polyester anchor with an ETA in Option 7 for hollow brick and concrete, along with its stone colour, winter and summer versions; as well as the MOEPOX epoxy-acrylate anchor, with ETA Option 7 for concrete.

To add to that there is also the MOPESE, a styrene-free epoxy-acrylate anchor, with ETA Option 1 for cracked and non-cracked concrete – along with its winter and summer versions; the MOVISE styrene-free vinylester anchor, with ETA Option 7 for concrete and hollow brick; and the MOPURE, pure epoxy anchor, with ETA Option 1 for cracked and non-cracked concrete – all of which have additional ETAs for rebar connections. All of the chemical range, except for the MOVISE, is also LEED Approved.

The plastic anchor range from INDEX also includes an ETA family. The T-NUX universal frame anchor has an ETA for categories A, B and C in all its versions: Countersunk and hexagonal zinc-plated versions and countersunk and hexagonal A4 stainless steel versions.

Finally, the AB-PE sprinkler pipe clamp is FM approved for its use on fire extinguishing systems. All approvals and certifications are available on INDEX’s website.
