New features for INDEX®’s range of polyurethane foams 03 December 2020

INDEX® is expanding its range of products from the polyurethane foam family with a new polyurethane adhesive (Pu-EP), new nozzle formats for the TILE (PU-TC) and FIRESTOP (PU-FC) versions and a new ECOFLEX nozzle.

The new SATE/ETICS PU-EO polyurethane adhesive is suitable for the installation of ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) plates, insulation panels and drywalls. The high density in its formula ensures immediate initial fixing and high adhesion.

The adhesive is certified in accordance with ETAG 004 (EOTA TR046), offers instant fixing and provides maximum performance at a lower cost, covering up to 16m2 of panels/slabs with one unit – the exact dose of polyurethane adhesives reduces the use of materials. The mechanical curing time of between 1 – 2 hours offers express installation and is versatile as it is suitable for use in any climate.

Also new, the ECOFLEX nozzle allows the product to be applied in a more ergonomic manner, even making it possible to access the most difficult spaces with just one hand thanks to its flexibility. Its innovative blocking system means the product can be kept and reused for several days, reducing product waste and being more environmentally friendly. The nozzle is available for the multipurpose foam PU-SC and the fire resistant foam PU-FC.

In addition to this, the FIRESTOP and TILE versions have been added in a nozzle application format. Both products are supplied in 750ml solutions.
