Light and strong – the right solution 18 February 2019

FAR Srl produces a diverse range of fastening technology through its strong workforce all over the world. In addition, its in-house research and development projects help contribute to the expansion of its product line, such as the recently developed FHU5000 – a pneumatic hydraulic tool designed specifically for the efficient setting of high powered structural rivets and pin and collar lockbolts.

FAR points out that the tool-head of the new FHU5000 fits a wide range of nose equipment (separately supplied) in different lengths, which means the tool can be adapted for setting all structural rivets and the most used lockbolts, such as Magna-Lok®, Monobolt®, Avdelok®, Magna-Grip® and Hucktainer®.

This easy to use tool, strictly 100% manufactured in Italy, is mostly committed to heavy-duty applications due to it having more traction power than other tools of a similar size. Designed for a long working life in heavy production use, the FHU5000 offers reliable operation over extended periods and can help users in their daily work by reducing effort – just over 1kg to fit some of the larger rivets in many positions with one hand.

Especially designed for oversized, irregular or misaligned holes, this lightweight tool is suitable for a variety of trailer applications with long-term customer benefits guaranteed.
