New power tool for hollow wall anchors 27 February 2023

Scell-it states it is shaking up the standards on the hollow wall anchor market with the E-007 setting tool, a patented world exclusive powered tool to install hollow wall anchors – such as Spyder or Spyder Plus by Scell-it, as well as other brands such as Molly®.

Scell-it reports that the quick setting powered action of this tool means setting is performed effortlessly and accurately, in an instant, with one squeeze of the trigger. This helps save time and effort compared to more conventional methods such as using hand grip tools or screwing the anchor in manually.

The E-007 sets anchors with a screw, whilst the E-007-T uses a built-in mandrel to set anchors without a screw – including Jack nuts and Spyder nuts. Both can set a range of M4 to M8, and a setting adjustment dial on the back of the tools allow for the perfect setting of stroke adjustment from 4mm to 40mm. This means a wide range of diameter and lengths of anchor can be accommodated.

Rechargeable in just 30 minutes, the 18V – 2.0 Ah battery is compatible with the rest of the Scell-it ELEMENT battery tools range, allowing a craftsman to be equipped with quality hollow wall anchoring and riveting tools – with a lower investment.

The E-007 is also an ergonomic, compact and lightweight designed tool at just under 1.4kg, and is just 210mm tall, meaning effortless setting even in the tightest of places. It’s equipped with a high performance brushless motor to increase the tool life, improve performance and reduce noise pollution. Additionally, three LEDs on the head of the tool ensure visibility in the darkest working areas, for more precision.

The E-007 is exclusive to the Scell-it brand and is part of their new economical range of tools – the E-00 series – that lower the entry level price for battery powered setting tools.
