Bufab acquires Tilka Trading AB 21 October 2021

Bufab has acquired all outstanding shares in the Swedish company Tilka Trading AB (Tilka), with annual sales of approximately SEK 50 million (approximately €4.9 million euros).

Based in Mönsterås, Tilka is a wholesaler supplying fasteners, special parts and logistics solutions to industry. The company was founded in 1978 and has been owned and run by the second generation, siblings Per Karlsson and Lena Johansson since 1999. In January 2015 Tilka appointed an external Managing Director, Yngve Åkesson. Under their leadership, Tilka has expanded the business into a Supply Chain Partner to customers across many industries. In the twelve month period ending August 2021, Tilka had 18 employees and sales of approximately SEK 50 million.

It will be exciting to follow Tilka's growth journey as part of the Bufab Group. Through them we will bring both expertise and new customers to Bufab. As part of Bufab, Tilka will also have access to the tools, processes, and not least the global network we have developed over the years. The acquisition closed and take effect today and will be reported within Bufab's Segment North.
