Ober® is able to provide a wide range of sophisticated products – characterised by a prolonged life expectancy in heavy use conditions – as well as first class assistance for its entire range.

A specialist in tools since 1952, Ober® SpA is known for its ability to design and manufacture portable compressed air tools, pneumatic motors, automated machinery, as well as systems for drilling, tapping, threading and screwing – including power screwdrivers with electronic torque control.

“As a business we have been working within the mechanical sector for 70 years, which gives us the experience and knowledge to produce products and developments necessary to compete on a global scale,” states Ober®.

“Even during recent years, where there has been a lot of uncertainty within the market, we have still looked at investments and developing our know-how so that we can continue to optimise our products and services.”

Ober®’s ability to innovate is underlined with its range of air motors dubbed SLFB, as well as its BTR 170 Rebel cordless riveting tool. “Thanks to our extensive relationships with dealers and distributors in key territories, as well as a well established sales rep network, we are able to understand the pulse of the market and produce solutions to meet the needs of customers.”

All of the products within Ober®’s range are built within its facility located in Cadriano di Granarolo dell’Emilia to the north of Bologna in Italy. “Our advanced product lines and pre- and after-sales services are second to none,” explains Ober®. “This has enabled us to become a leader in the Italian market, as well as grow strongly throughout. We can do this because we know how to earn and win the trust of our customers by meeting and satisfying their needs.”

Ober® is also able to work on projects with OEMs, with the company previously developing custom projects for a variety of customers and applications. A major factor in Ober’s ability to produce high-quality innovative products, and work alongside OEMs, is its skilled and experienced employees. “Without doubt the most valuable asset of our business is our employees – who have the knowledge and experience to allow us to continuously develop new features and tools,” points out Ober®. “Alongside our employees, we also look to purchase the very latest production technology, whether machinery or software. This has led to our R&D capabilities being at the very forefront of the industry. Finally, we also strive to supply products of the highest quality, which is why we not only look to meet relevant standards – we are ISO 9001 certified – but go beyond them to guarantee the very best quality.”
