Aztec Nordic Ltd launches new machine models 23 March 2016

Finnish-based Aztec Nordic Ltd, a manufacturer of automated powder coating machines for roofing and façade fasteners for 20 years, has recently introduced a new series of small powder coating machines.

Aztec Nordic Ltd’s innovative machines combine screw and washer assembling with powder coating – all in one continuous process – with the highest speed machine offering a production output of over 600 parts per minute.
Aztec Nordic’s new range includes the P130 series of machines, which fills the gap between manual hand painting and the larger high speed assembling and powder coating machines that Aztec Nordic has been designing and building since the 1990s.

The company has also introduced a new machine that enables assembling and powder coating with a primer and top coat, all in one continuous automated process. In cooperation with one of its key customers, Aztec Nordic has created what it says is a truly unique powder coating machine – the P160 series.

The P160 series machine assembles screws and washers, powder coats them with a primer, cures the primer, adds the top coat powder coating, cures the top coat, and finally counts and packs the fasteners in boxes – everything in a continuous process at speeds up to 550 parts per minute.
The innovations don’t stop there. Aztec Nordic also recently expanded its range of powder coating machines to cover larger bolts. The new P150 series of machines assemble and powder coat up to M12 bolts, in lengths of up to 50mm. A unique feature of the P150 series is its ability to assemble the washer either before or after powder coating, which makes it possible to use rubber or plastic washers made from materials not able to withstand the heat in the powder coating curing oven. This new feature opens up the possibility for all the users of standalone assembling machines to feed their assembling machines with powder coated screws and eliminates the need for manual hand racking of assembled screws for powder coating.
