HEROSLAM presents new tools and coatings at Fastener Fair Stuttgart 06 March 2017

HEROSLAM S.A.L will showcase its full range of thread rolling tools, including flat, cylindrical and planetary dies, as well as its special range of thread rolling dies and coatings, at the upcoming Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017.

 
HEROSLAM’s special range of thread rolling dies can be used in several specific threading applications and includes progressive roll-on thread rolling dies for rolling heat treated parts (10.9, 12.9, etc); special flat and cylindrical thread rolling dies for aerospace fasteners; its new range of flat dies for Mathread® and ogival fasteners; planetary thread rolling dies for the production of nails, woodscrews, and Mathread® fasteners; a new range of knurling and grooving dies; as well as a new range of cylindrical tools.
The company will also present the new generation of special coatings developed and made in-house. After the success obtained by the GG coating, HEROSLAM states that this new range of coatings significantly increases tool life when rolling parts after heat treatment – reducing machine preps and changes, and minimising machine down time, which entails a significant reduction in manufacturing costs.
