Rose gold for nut taps 22 April 2020

BASS GmbH has introduced a new version of the AMGB V nut tap, this time with a BTIC coating.

The AMGB V tap was specially developed for fully automatic tapping of nuts in the run-over process. In the most modern version with a rose gold BTIC coating, tool life and process reliability have been enhanced further. The advantage for the customer is higher output quantities and thus lower costs per nut.

In addition, the range of small dimensions has been extended. The AMGB V is now available starting from M8 (or corresponding sizes in other thread types such as UNC or UNF).

BASS has also introduced a new HVA geometry. The tap VARIANT HVA shows its potential for thread cutting in the reversing tapping cycles of heat resistant and stainless steels, as well as special alloys. Threading tools for the use of axial and radial cooling in the nut industry complete BASS’ portfolio.
