SACMA world premieres at Stuttgart 24 May 2017

SACMA Group was very satisfied with Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2017, where it introduced the world premieres of the brand new RP120 and RP220 machines – attracting a lot of visitors to see demonstrations of this winning technology.

Customers demonstrated a lot of interest in the machines, impressed by the combination of maximum rigidity and high-tech features, which as far as SACMA is concerned, makes it the most competitive thread rolling machines for building, construction, electronic, furniture, appliance and automotive fasteners. The most appreciated innovative RP220 feature was the brand new starter unit, perfectly integrated to make it very reliable for high-speed production. Control of the introduction system is achieved by a torque motor with movement on linear guides. The machine seduced visiting technicians with all its features – ensuring quick change over, space saving, precision, ergonomics and the lowest production cost. Users recognised the high construction quality level of the machine, which ensures low maintenance operation compared with any thread rollers available. In addition, the RP220 was designated as a finalist of the Route to Fastener Innovation Competition at Fastener Fair Stuttgart. Ingramatic said that its staff were very proud to receive this sign of recognition.
SACMA was also an important support of the Fair through its participation in the Fastener + Fixing Seminar Programme. Mr Enrico Brigatti, commercial director of SACMA Group, focused on a variety of topics including the evolution of the parts shape; improving precision with the SACMA TR System; expending the limits with the SACMA feeding package SFP; challenging the future with SACMA’s WF S forging concept; and implementing innovations with mechatronics and cold formers.
In order to expand the leadership of SACMA in supplying net shape part formers, the Group organised a gate on its stand to access directly the booth of voestalpine, which provides special wire coils for the cold and warm forming technologies. This solution extend the technical contents of the SACMA Group booth in making customers fully informed from the wire through to secondary operation technology.
During this edition, SACMA Group received many visitors coming from India, China, France, England, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Italy and, of course, Germany. Because SACMA Group had a machine demonstration, the booth was very busy during the three days of the show. Adding to the value of this edition of the Fair, SACMA Group was able to confirm that it had finalised contracts with customers from Asia and other European countries. It is clear that the mix proposed by SACMA Group with both its established SACMA and Ingramatic brands, combined with the immediate availability of spare parts and the 100% integration of the manufacturing of the machine in its factories, seduces the market more and more – to make the Group the most reliable player worldwide.
