Tecno Impianti introduces new in-line wire drawer 25 March 2016

Italian-based Tecno Impianti Srl will exhibit the latest version of one of its most successful in-line wire drawers – the SKP14 – at the upcoming wire® 2016 show.

Tecno Impianti points out that the machine has been totally re-designed, with a new chassis and new transmission, which permit a great saving in space and reduced maintenance. It also has a maximum inlet wire diameter of 14mm.

The SKP14 machine that will be exhibited at wire® will be equipped with a die-box designed for drawing with oil lubricant, with tank and motor pump system. Before drawing the wire, operators need either to point the wire head or eventually execute a butt-welding operation. For this reason, the wire drawer SKP14 will be joined on the Tecno Impianti stand by the wire pointing machine – AT14 – and the butt-welding machine – ST14.

Tecno Impianti has sold 750 wire pointing machines so far, and the model AT14 with two rolling cylinders, is the best-selling model. The machine comes equipped with a carriage in order to be utilised with more than one wire drawer.

Also at wire® 2016 Tecno Impianti will debut its butt-welding unit ST14, which comes equipped with carriage and grinding wheel. In addition, for the construction sector, there will be a rolling/profiling cold rolling cassette – CRC-150-30-33 – and the rolls-releasing device, DSR, on display.

Last but not least, Tecno Impianti will also introduce for the first time its brand new EvoCut6012 – a straightening and cutting machine for smooth wire, which is designed for working with a range from 6mm to 12mm.
