The collective resources of Rockford Manufacturing Group (RMG), Fastener Engineers, and Lewis Machine, represent leading innovation – with the company stating it was the the first to develop the commercialised use of capstan in-line wire drawers in 1962.

In-line wire drawing provides numerous benefits for fastener and wire products industries. The equipment is used for many manufacturing processes that include fastener production, nail making, wire bending, concrete products, welded wire products and wire straighten and cutting.

The integrated in-line wire processing solutions are also an excellent example of Lean manufacturing. Customers can quickly realise better quality, reduced inventory, improved productivity, greater flexibility and most importantly, reduced total cost.

Supporting the technology is service and support from RMG, which is the OEM for Fastener Engineers, Lewis Machine and G.C. Patterson equipment, and the source for all tooling and spare parts.

“An example of our capabilities includes the patented Model 500 Spacesaver in-line wire drawer. This innovative solution has helped many of our customers better utilise valuable production floor space.
